08/21/2018 MINUTES 2 <br />include Vendor Cash Register Rentals and to Authorize a Ten Percent <br />Discount for Bulk Ticket Purchases by Businesses and Organizations. <br /> <br />LISA YOUNG, INTERIM EVENT CENTER DIRECTOR reviewed proposed <br />amendments to fees to the Kittitas County Fair which would include a <br />10% discount for bulk ticket purchases by businesses and <br />organizations as well as a fee for vendor cash register rentals. She <br />said the Fair Board was in favor of the proposed fees and <br />recommended approval of them. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE <br />HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2018-130 FEE AMENDMENTS TO FAIR EVENT CENTER <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER O’BRIEN moved to approve Resolution No. 2018-130, to <br />Approve Fee Amendments for the Kittitas County Fair to Include <br />Vendor Cash Register Rentals and to Authorize a Ten Percent Discount <br />for Bulk Ticket Purchases by Businesses and Organizations. <br />COMMISSIONER WRIGHT seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SHERIFF <br /> <br />At 2:17 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />Amendments to Kittitas County Code Chapter 2.48 Department of <br />Emergency Management to clarify certain provisions and to reflect <br />Amendments to State Law in the past Legislative Session. <br /> <br />DARREN HIGASHIYAMA, OPERATIONS COMMANDER reviewed a proposed <br />Ordinance which would amend Kittitas County Code Chapter 2.48 <br />clarifying certain provisions to reflect amendments to State Law in <br />the past Legislative Session. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE <br />HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 2018-015 EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SHERIFF <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER O’BRIEN moved to approve Ordinance No. 2018-015, <br />Amending Chapter 2.48 Department of Emergency Management of the <br />Kittitas County Code. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT seconded. Motion carried <br />3-0. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING ATLANTIC AVE & 3RD STREET PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />At 2:21 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />the Installation of Stop Signs on Atlantic Avenue and 3rd Street in <br />Ronald and to consider amending Section 10.12.010 of the Kittitas <br />County Code. <br />
