Kittitas County Public Works 2018 Road Standards Review Committee
2. As an applicant, which category do you plan to represent? Please circle
selection below:
Engineering and/or survey firm,
and development services
3. Real estate community
4. Local excavation specialty firm
5. Local land use consulting firm, agricultural community,
6. Fire/life/safety community,
7. Home builders association/community
3. What is your level of road standard knowledge in Kittitas County?
We would consider ourselves to have the highest level of road
standard knowledge outside of Kittitas County employees
given we typically deal with road standards on a daily basis.
4. What interests you most about becoming a member of the 2018 Road
Standards Review Committee?
As a local planning, surveying, and engineering firm that
consistently works with residents and developers on road standards
it's part of our job to be aware of potential changes to regulations
as well as offer to help in charting the best path forward.
5. We will need to review changes, present possible revisions and coordinate
actions with the Public Works Department. Have you worked in a team
environment in the past? If so, please elaborate.
All of our projects include a team which typically consists
of a developer, architect, structrual engineer, geotechnical
engineer, and contractor.
6. Can you be fair and unbiased when it comes to selecting and supporting the
implementation of the 2018 Road Standards?
Yes. Our strategy for working in Committees on regulations is
to approach the process with an open mind and not come in
with preconceived notions on how everything should work.
