BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018 - <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN'S SIGNATURE ON A MEMORANDUM OF <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN YAKIMA BASIN FISH AND WILDLIFE RECOVERY <br />BOARD AND KITTITAS COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR <br />REVEGETATION OF COUNTY OWNED LAND AT RINGER LOOP <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County has an interlocal cooperative agreement with Yakima Basin Fish <br />and Wildlife Recovery Board (YBFWRB) for mutual assistance consistent with <br />RCW 39.34; and <br />WHEREAS: YBFWRB is offering to coordinate revegetation efforts with Bureau of Land <br />Management restoration efforts in the vicinity of Ringer Loop; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Department of Public Works is required to revegetate Ringer <br />Loop as a condition of Ringer Loop land acquisition with Recreation <br />Conservation Office; and <br />WHEREAS: The coordinated revegetation effort is estimated to save Public Works <br />approximately $36,000; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Chair's signature on the Memorandum of <br />Agreement with Yakima Basin Fish and Wildlife Recovery Board for revegetation work at <br />Ringer Loop. <br />DATED this 23rd day of July, 2018 at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Obie O'Brien, Vice -Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
