7/9/2018 MINUTES 3 <br />The Board stated that they will wait till they hear from Ms. Young <br />before taking any action. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS – <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II stated that an e-mail <br />came in from WSAC Executive Director Eric Johnson asking which <br />Kittitas County Commissioner would be listening to the Webinar on <br />July 27, 2018 from 3-4 p.m. for the LSC Webinar to Consider Fish <br />Barrier Removal Funding. The Board stated that Commissioner Wright <br />would be attending the webinar as he is handling water. <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien provided a Letter to Candace McKinley, <br />Environmental Program Manager, Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia- <br />Cascades Area Office - Kachess Drought Relief Pumping Plan and <br />Keechelus Reservoir-to-Kachess Reservoir Conveyance Supplemental <br />Draft EIS Response, he asked that the Board make their comments and <br />get them to him by the end of business today. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 10:21 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess <br />into Executive Session for 10 minutes to evaluate the qualifications <br />of an applicant for public employment or to review the performance <br />of a public employee. However, subject to RCW 42.30.140 (4), <br />discussion by a governing body of salaries, wages, and other <br />conditions of employment to be generally applied within the agency <br />shall occur in a meeting open to the public, and when a governing <br />body elects to take final action hiring, setting the salary of an <br />individual employee or class of employees, or discharging or <br />disciplining an employee, that action shall be taken in a meeting <br />open to the public. No action was anticipated. <br /> <br />At 10:31 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
