of four years from the date of issuance. The County Engineer or designee may approve an <br />extension of up to one year. <br />12.04.02.100 Administrative Reconsideration. <br />A. The applicant may request reconsideration of the results of the concurrency determination within <br />15 days of the written notification of the evaluation results by filing a formal request for <br />reconsideration specifying the grounds thereof, using forms authorized by the department. <br />B. The County Engineer or designee shall reconsider the evaluation results and issue a <br />determination within 30 days of the filing of such request either upholding the original <br />determination or amending it. <br />C. The results of an administrative reconsideration may be appealed as provided by KCC 12.01.130. <br />Article ill. Surveying <br />12.04.03.010 Purpose. <br />The purpose of this article is to present Kittitas County requirements for land surveying, and survey <br />monuments. <br />12.04.03.020 Applicability. <br />This section applies to survey work and survey monuments associated with the design, maintenance, and <br />construction of streets and roads in Kittitas County. <br />12.04.03.030 Road Survey Monuments. <br />The following criteria shall apply to all road survey monuments: <br />A. All existing survey control monuments, which are disturbed, lost or destroyed during surveying or <br />construction; shall be replaced by a land surveyor registered in the State Of Washington at the <br />expense of the contractor, applicant, or other responsible party. <br />B. Survey control monuments shall be placed or replaced by a licensed land surveyor as shown on <br />the approved construction plans in accordance with recognized good practice in land surveying, <br />in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations, and in accordance with the <br />approved details for survey monuments. <br />C. Surrey monuments are required at all road intersections, at horizontal points of curvature (PC's), <br />horizontal points of tangency (PT's), centers of cul-de-sacs, as needed for inter -visibility, and <br />other appropriate locations as determined necessary by the county.
