<br />04/03/2018 MINUTES 4 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2018-061 OFFICIAL COUNTY NEWSPAPER COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Approve Resolution No. 2018-061, Awarding a Contract to the Daily Record <br />to Serve as the Official County Newspaper from July 1, 2018 through June <br />30, 2019, and to Authorize a Contract between Kittitas County and the <br />Daily Record. <br /> <br />MYLARS THUNDER RIDGE PLAT (LP-07-00023) CDS <br /> <br />Approve the Mylars Granting Final Approval for the Thunder Ridge Plat <br />(LP-07-00023), a division of 8.02 acres into eight (8) lots ranging in <br />size from .83 to 1.34 acres, located off of Deer Meadow Drive. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE - NONE <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS - NONE <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS - NONE <br /> <br />BOARD DISCUSSION/DECISION ITEMS <br /> <br />SPECIAL EVENT GRAN FONDO – 88 MILE BIKE RIDE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to approve a Special Event Application to hold <br />the Gran Fondo 88 Mile Bike Ride on June 10, 2018 conditioned upon <br />providing requirements set forth from the Kittitas County Sheriff, <br />Public Works Department and County Prosecutor; and to grant a waiver to <br />Kittitas County Code Chapter 5.20.100 Penal Bond – Bond of Indemnity; <br />and to submit proof of Washington State Department of Transportation’s <br />approval to be submitted no later than May 18, 2018. Commissioner <br />O’Brien seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />CLOSED RECORD MEETING HYAK PUD REZONE (RZ-87-0002) CDS <br /> <br />Lindsey Ozbolt, Staff Planner reviewed the Amended Hyak PUD Rezone Final <br />Development Plan (RZ-87-0002). She said it pre-dates the Planned Unit <br />Development zone and it was for 650 units mixed between motel and multi- <br />family on approximately 25 acres through Ordinance 87-4. In January <br />1994 the Board of County Commissioners approved the Amended Hyak Planned <br />Unit Development Rezone which reduced the overall all density to 622 <br />units consisting of 562 multi-family dwelling units and 60 single family <br />units. The final Development Plan consists of 392 units mixed between <br />344 multi-family units and 48 single family units, on 34 acres located <br />in the southwest quarter of Section 15, Township 22 North, Range 11 <br />East, WM, Kittitas County. She said according to Kittitas County Code <br />17.36.045(2) the Board shall approve final development plans for the <br />PUD, provided the conditions imposed on the preliminary PUD approval
