CURRIER CREEK ESTATES DISCUSSION <br />Lucas Huck gave background regarding the plat of Currier Creek <br />Estates and the Kittitas County Road Standards the plat falls <br />under. Lucas Huck continued that it was intended for the roads <br />within the plat to be brought onto the county road system and <br />that the developer pay any required fees, receive final <br />inspection and petition the Board of County Commissioners to <br />consider establishing the roadways on system by Resolution upon <br />final plat approval and there are other roads within that <br />development that are on -system. Lucas Huck added that the <br />developer is requesting relief from payment of the required fees <br />referencing verbiage in the 2015 Kittitas County Road Standards. <br />Lucas Huck continued that the plat is vested under the 2004 <br />Kittitas County Road Standards therefore the language in the <br />2015 standards was not applicable. After further conversation, <br />the developer requested Lucas Huck have discussion with the <br />Board of County Commissioners on the matter. Neil Caulkins spoke <br />as to the vested rights and development regulations. After <br />further discussion the Board directed staff to prepare enabling <br />documentation for consideration at an upcoming Agenda Session. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION: <br />At 2:39 p.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess <br />into Executive Session for 20 minutes to discuss with legal <br />counsel representing the agency matters relating to the agency <br />enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel <br />representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to <br />which the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an <br />official capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when <br />public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result in <br />an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency. No <br />action is anticipated. <br />At 2:59 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No <br />action was taken. <br />At 2:59 p.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced that the Board would <br />recess back into Executive Session for 10 minutes to discuss <br />with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating to <br />the agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel <br />representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to <br />which the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an <br />official capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when <br />public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result in <br />2018-01-08 MINUTES <br />
