Staff concluded that a Resolution
can be approved by the Board of County Commissioners to be used
annually to restrict certain classes of trucks due to the damage
being done to county roads. Mark Cook added that Staff would
also coordinate with the Washington State Department of
Transportation to erect signage once the enabling documentation
is approved. After discussion the Board directed Staff to draft
a Resolution using verbiage to spell out the annual closure.
Staff will return in one month for further consideration. There
was one public comment made regarding the topic.
CURRIER CREEK FEMA FLOODPLAIN MAPPING UPDATE
Mark Cook stated that for the last several years Staff has been
working with FEMA on a remapping effort to correct inaccurate
mapping previously published.
