Kittitas Valley Event Center ICSVAL\
Cleaning Action Plan
Cleaning our facility, even under perfect conditions, is challenging. We host a very wide variety of
events, so those challenges rise exponentially. The evolution in cleaning equipment has provided us with
a number of options in hardware. However, people — not machines — are the key to getting the job
done successfully. This action plan addresses a number of areas and includes a number of suggestions
on how to best utilize our resources in the most efficient way possible to ensure the cleanest facility
possible.
This plan is designed to be used hand in hand with our Preventative Maintenance Plan, and our annual
planning for the Kittitas County Fair and Ellensburg Rodeo (and their associated "punch lists").
Mission
The mission of The Kittitas Valley Event Center is to serve the Central Washington area with a premier
facility that provides the perfect solution for meetings, family gatherings, equestrian and agricultural
events, trade shows, and other special celebrations.
We are guided by the principle that our clients are forever and we strive to exceed expectations for quality
service, event coordination, and facility management.
We strive to have a safe and exceptional work environment for our staff, to provide a positive influence
and service to our community, while providing a clean, accessible, and affordable facility to the public.
Vision
Thousands of visitors and locals use The Kittitas Valley Event Center and we endeavor to serve our
diverse audiences with equal attention to detail. Our guests are our first priority. What is important to
them is important to us.
Our vision is to ensure an excellent quality experience for every audience member. This includes a clean
and well-functioning facility, excellent customer service, and beautiful welcoming grounds.
Kittitas Valley Event Center Cleaning Action Plan 2017 2 1 P a g e
