They have reviewed the various types of soils using their database and have found <br />there are 6 distinctive soil types under runway 7/25. <br />We are proposing 8 cores, 3 CBR tests, 3 moisture tests, and 6 sieve analysis for each soil type and subbase <br />type. Starting at the runway 7 end for approximately 3,900 feet, this would be a coring every 400-500 feet which is <br />consistent with FAA requirements. We would be transitioning the core locations across the runway; edge, center, edge <br />We are wrapping up our contract and will have it to you this week.
