Exhibit A <br />Scope of Work <br />Kittitas County Public Works <br />Road Standards Update <br />Task Order No. 02 <br />Agreement No. KCPW-2017-19ENG3 <br />July 17, 2017 <br />Introduction and Background: Kittitas County desires to make revisions and updates to the code <br />and standards for Title 13 of the County Code, "Roads and Bridges". The County communicated its <br />preliminary goals for this effort in a one page document titled: "Road Standards Update 2017." <br />These goals were discussed in additional detail during a meeting between KPG and the County on <br />May 31, 2017. <br />The County and KPG subsequently executed a Formal Task Order Document, Task Order No. 01 for <br />KPG to provide general engineering support services to the County through 2020. At the same <br />time the County authorized an agreed upon budget portion of Task Order No. 01 to develop this <br />scope and fee estimate for the "Road Standards Update" as the first subtask. The resulting scope <br />and fee is shown below and will provide the basis of Task Order No. 02 for Agreement No. KCPW <br />2017-19ENG3. <br />TASK 1— PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br />Objective: Provide management of staff and resources, monitor and manage the project budget <br />and project schedule, and provide client contact. <br />1. Internal resource management and prioritization of resources. <br />2. Manage and maintain the project schedule and budget. <br />TASK 2 — RESEARCH & CODE REVIEW <br />Objective: Building upon the initial code review performed during the development of this scope <br />under Task Order No. 1. Provide research and additional code review as needed during the <br />development of other task items, check references to other Titles in the Kittitas County Code, and <br />search for useful example code sections to aid in the development of the code revisions. <br />1. Perform research, code review and evaluation, and integrate ideas from other codes. <br />2.
