Exhibitors are allowed to sell both of their market animals In the <br />CELEBRATION <br />Commerce <br />auction, with the highest placing and quality animals being sold first. <br />. <br />COLLISION <br />In the swine department, the grand champion 4-H hog exhibited by Wade Schafer <br />RAFFLE WINNER <br />sold for $4.50 a pound to buyers Senator Mark Schoesler and Representative Joe <br />Schmick. Michael Shields sold the grand champion FFA market hog for $4 a pound <br />Neighbors <br />to Wheatland Waste Systems, Inc. <br />. DONATION <br />Shields also raised the reserve champion FFA hog and sold the pig for $2,50 a <br />Schools <br />pound to Avlsta Utilities. 4-H reserve champion market hog owner Grace Greenwalt <br />. LRHS seniors reflect on first <br />sold her hog to Mountain High Trucking and Kulm Farms for $3.75, <br />year, importance of FBLA <br />In the beef department, the grand champion 4-H steer exhibited by Gus Tracy sold <br />for $2.85 per pound to Legacy Telecommunications and Power. TyAnn Tellefson sold <br />the FFA grand champion steer for $3 to Curt and Randy Franz. <br />The reserve champion 4-H steer sold for $2.70 per pound to The McGregor <br />Company and Jensen Produce, and was raised by Eliza Galbreath. Taylor Kulm sold <br />her reserve champion FFA steer for $4 per pound to Jensen Produce. <br />FFA exhibitor Erica Leffel and 4-H exhibitor Brynne Nelson swept the champion <br />ribbons in the sheep department. Leffel sold her champion Iamb for $3.50 a pound <br />to Wilbur Ellls-Warden, and sold her reserve champion Iamb to Darrel and Diane <br />Koss for $2.75 per pound. Nelson sold her champion Iamb to Pohl Springs for $4.50 <br />a pound, and sold her reserve champion Iamb for $3.50 to Schoesler Farms. <br />Steve and Nanette Naught proved to be the buyers to outbid In the goat <br />department and purchased three goats in the auction.
