SECTION 2—DESIGN PARAMETERS <br />In 2015, the County weighed 161 septage hauler vehicles at the scalehouse and hauled 60 truckloads of <br />leachate from the facility (compost stormwater ponds and transfer station tunnel) to the Ryegrass Landfill <br />septage facility. In addition, the Ellensburg transfer station weighed Waste Management, Inc.'s curbside <br />recycling trucks containing single stream and cardboard recycling material at the scalehouse (420 <br />vehicles representing 1,283 tons). Contingency storage of up to 7,000 cubic yards (i.e., approximately 10 <br />days of current waste receipts) could be accomplished by stacking waste 10' deep across the tipping <br />floor. <br />2-2 EN1213161143SAC DRAFT— 12/23/16 <br />
