COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />Tuesday 2:00 PM February 14, 2017 <br />Board members present: Laura Osiadacz, Obie O'Brien, Paul Jewell <br />Others: Patti Johnson, Lisa Lawrence, Lisa Young (2:05 p.m. - <br />2:10 p.m.), Kay Kresge <br />REGULAR MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br />Note: Study Session was held per Code but inconsistent with <br />publishing dates. Study Session will be re -held 3/14/2017. <br />Meeting called to order at 2:05 p.m. At 2:05 p.m. Commissioner <br />Jewell announced the Board would recess into Executive Session <br />for 5 minutes to evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for <br />public employment or to review the performance of a public <br />employee. However, subject to RCW 42.30.140 (4), discussion by a <br />governing body of salaries, wages, and other conditions of <br />employment to be generally applied within the agency shall occur <br />in a meeting open to the public, and when a governing body <br />elects to take final action hiring, setting the salary of an <br />individual employee or class of employees, or discharging or <br />disciplining an employee, that action shall be taken in a <br />meeting open to the public. No action was anticipated. <br />At 2:10 p.m. the Board reconvened from Executive Session and no <br />action was taken. <br />Solid Waste Updates: None <br />Discussion on Kittitas County Transfer Station Basis of Design <br />Report: Patti Johnson presented the Board with the Design report <br />for their review and discussion at a later agenda. <br />Maintenance and Project Updates: A brief discussion was held on <br />current staffing coverage and keeping up with snow removal. <br />Patti presented the Board with the Bloom Pavilion Addition Plans <br />from ALSO. Discussion was held on the plans presented including <br />the animal wash racks design and the proper drainage and <br />
