MARCH 13, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz and Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Julie Kjorsvik, <br />Clerk of the Board. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Jewell opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending March 10, 2017. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION LETTER OF SUPPORT COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien gave an update on a meeting the Board <br />previously held on 1/30/2017 to consider a request for a static <br />display of a “Seahawk” EA-6B Prowler from Marine Tactical Electronic <br />Warfare Squadron Four (VMAQ-4) soon to be “retired” due to the <br />squadron’s upcoming “sunset”, for placement in Kittitas County. He <br />stated that CWU is not in favor of the project which leaves it up to <br />the County for placement if the County chooses to take that project <br />on. <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell questioned how the plane would be maintained, <br />what the cost would be to insure it, what it would cost annually and <br />where it would be placed. He stated without knowing at least some of <br />of those details he didn’t feel a letter being sent right now would <br />be appropriate. He stated that there are still a lot details to work
