Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br /> <br />RATIFY CHAIR SIGNATURE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to ratify Chairman Jewell’s signature on <br />a letter of support endorsing a training and exercise plan for a <br />complex coordinated terrorist attack exercise at the request of the <br />Sheriff’s Office. Commissioner O’Brien seconded. Chairman Jewell <br />noted that this was to accompany a grant the KCSO is applying for. <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2017-036 DECLARATION OF EMERGENCY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz move to approve Resolution No. 2017-036, <br />Declaration of Emergency – Closure of County Offices. Commissioner <br />O’Brien seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis. This was determined at a Special <br />Meeting with the Board of County Commissioners held on June 18, <br />2009. Each Commissioner reviewed discussions held with their <br />respective departments and exchanged details of those meetings. On <br />January 3, 2011 the Board determined it would be beneficial to <br />alternate Commissioners that will oversee the different Department <br />Head’s on an annual basis.
