FEBRUARY 13, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz and Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Julie Kjorsvik, <br />Clerk of the Board; Lisa Lawrence, Assistant Director Solid <br />Waste/Interim KVEC Director & one member of the public. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Jewell opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers. (No PAF’s on 2/13/17). <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending February 10, 2017. <br /> <br />APPROVE SHADY BROOK LEASE(S) COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve and authorize Chairman <br />Jewell’s signature on a Lease Agreement for Lot 40 at the Shady <br />Brook Mobile Home Park. Commissioner O’Brien seconded. Motion <br />carried 3-0. <br /> <br />UPDATE THROTTLE & SMOKE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien provided an update on the current <br />donations/sponsors for the Throttle & Smoke event that Mickey Webb, <br />Event Center Volunteer/Intern has been working on. He stated that <br />they were needing to get $20,000.00 by 1/31/2017 and as of right now <br />they are not there. Commissioner O’Brien moved to have Staff notify <br />Mr. Webb they have decided to cancel holding the Throttle and Smoke <br />event at the Kittitas County Fairgrounds. Commissioner Osiadacz
