40 Hour Hazardous Material Handling Certification. <br />First Aid/CPR Certification. <br />WORKING CONDITIONS: <br />This position requires the ability to work extended hours, particularly during emergencies, and respond to calls <br />24/7. It is expected that the Director be the primary point of contact for all calls after regular business hours. <br />While performing the duties of this job, the physical demands could range from sedentary to very active. Employee <br />must be able to safely operate tools, equipment and vehicles, which may require the ability to reach and grasp with <br />hands, use of foot controls, climb or balance, ascend/descend stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, the ability to sit and <br />traverse a variety of surfaces. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally <br />more. Specific vision abilities required for this job include near and far sight, color vision, depth perception, peripheral <br />vision, and the ability to adjust focus; must be able to read and comprehend printed materials, and must have hearing <br />and speech ability to communicate in person, over the telephone, or by radio. Most work will be accomplished in an <br />office environment but <br />Office work may require sustained posture in a seated position and prolonged periods of computer operation; <br />must be familiar with standard office equipment. Work in outdoor environments will include frequent field visits <br />to other offices, work sites, projects and inspections, and may include exposure to inclement weather such as <br />temperature extremes, very windy/dusty conditions, and uneven terrain. Other exposures include, but are not <br />limited to: moving mechanical parts, loud noise, cleaning/sanitation chemicals, solvents, volatile organic <br />chemicals, environmental pollutants, paints, epoxies, abrasives, etc. Safety rules/regulations must be adhered to <br />at all times, including appropriate attire and PPE when necessary. <br />It is expected that this position will require some local and out-of-state travel. Employee must have the ability <br />to safely operate a motor vehicle in varied weather conditions and all levels of daylight. <br />Regular attendance and punctuality are required and expected Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; <br />however, exempt/management positions are expected to work the number of hours required to complete the <br />duties of the position, which includes evenings and weekends. <br />Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential <br />functions of the position. <br />PREPARED & REVIEWED BY: <br />Mustbe c pleted with all revisions of the job description.
