<br />09/06/2016 MINUTES 4 <br /> <br /> <br />AGREEMENT WA STATE ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Approve an Addendum to a Professional Services Agreement between <br />Kittitas County and the Washington State Association of Counties, <br />extending the termination date to July 30, 2017 for the facilitation of <br />the Counties Columbia River Policy Advisory Group through Neil Aaland <br />and the Washington State Association of Counties. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT HOPESOURCE YOUTH SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Chairman O’Brien said his wife works for HopeSource and would abstain <br />from voting on the matter. <br /> <br />Approve a revised Agreement between Kittitas County and HopeSource to <br />administer the Youth Sports Scholarship Program. <br /> <br />REQUEST TO APPROVE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH ACCOLADE <br />PROPERTY MANAGEMENT – ITEM REMOVED FROM THE AGENDA. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE – NONE <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS - NONE <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS – NONE <br /> <br />BOARD DISCUSSION/DECISION ITEMS <br /> <br />SPECIAL EVENT CLONEAPALOOZA COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Debbie Myers, Board Clerk/Receptionist reviewed a Special Event <br />Application received on August 29, 2016 to hold the ColoneAPalooza <br />event. She said due to the short notice since receiving the application, <br />she had not received responses back from all of the County Departments <br />with their recommendations for approval or denial of the event. <br /> <br />Chris Aldridge, Executive Producer for CloneAPalooza reviewed his <br />Special Event Application and apologized for being late. He said he had <br />been previously advised by the County to not submit their application <br />until it was 100% complete. This year he had a difficult time obtaining <br />security as the previous company he used is no longer licensed in <br />Washington State. He indicated he had finally obtained a security <br />company in Yakima and once that requirement was fulfilled he submitted <br />the application to the County. <br /> <br />Chairman O’Brien explained how Mr. Aldridge’s application was received <br />over 5 weeks late from the required timeline. The Sheriff’s office <br />stated there was no details provided to them other than security had <br />been obtained. Mr. Aldridge said a contract has been obtained and
