KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA ITEM STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE REQUESTED: October 10, 2016 <br />ACTION: Approve a Resolution To Authorize the Sale of Equipment Rental And <br />Revolving Fund Equipment No. 423 - 2002 Sakai SW800 Roller, Serial <br />Number VSW19-10152 to Pape Machinery, Inc. <br />Q Routine ❑ Public Hearing <br />BACKGROUND: Resolution No. 2015-135 declared Equipment Rental and Revolving Fund <br />Equipment No. 423 - 2002 Sakai SW800 Roller, Serial Number VSW19- <br />10152 surplus to our needs on October 20, 2015. The equipment was <br />advertised for sale through Publicsurplus.com but did not receive the <br />minimum bid of Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00). <br />The Public Works Department has received an offer from Pape <br />Machinery, Inc. to purchase the surplus used equipment for the amount <br />of Thirty -Two Thousand Dollars ($32,000.00). <br />It is our recommendation that we accept the bid from Pape Machinery, <br />Inc. to purchase E.R. and R.
