Ruby Street, Suite 1, Ellensburg, <br />WA and to authorize the Clerk to publish said notice. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS – NONE <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />Janice Jump said she was concerned that the 1 year statute notice to <br />vacate was not being honored to the residents of Shady Acres. She felt <br />any land that may be available for affordable housing should be put <br />towards apartments and not a “club house” type of environment. She also <br />spoke of the bowling alley’s roof being in poor condition and felt the <br />building should be demolished. <br /> <br />BOARD DISCUSSION/DECISION ITEMS <br /> <br />CLAIM FOR DAMAGES DOUGLAS MITCHELL PROSECUTOR <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve a Claim for Damages filed by <br />Douglas Mitchell with the Kittitas County Auditor on October 11, 2016. <br />Commissioner Jewell seconded. There was discussion on the motion and <br />concerns expressed if it was approved. <br /> <br />Motion to approve payment for the Claim for Damages was denied with a <br />vote of 0-2. <br /> <br />FUNDING DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES RECOMMENDATIONS PUBLIC HEALTH <br /> <br />Joann Schaan, Developmental Disabilities Coordinator, reviewed the <br />Request for Proposals that went out for one-time projects addressing <br />developmental disabilities information and education. The projects <br />received were from Eastside Opportunity Center; Entrust Community <br />Services; and Elmview. She reviewed their proposed projects; scores; and <br />the recommendations from the Developmental Disabilities Advisory <br />Committee. The Board thanked the committee for their work reviewing the <br />proposals and recommendations. Commissioner Jewell said he would like to <br />see a solicitation of 3 bids within the contract for outside services <br />and that all providers of Developmental Disability services be in the <br />video as well. <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to accept the Developmental Disabilities <br />Advisory Committee’s recommendation to fully fund Elmview’s project, <br />with the stipulation that the creation of the video be inclusive of all <br />providers contracted for Developmental Disabilities services in Kittitas <br />County; to deny the proposals submitted by Eastside Opportunity Center <br />and Entrust Community Services; and to direct Staff to prepare enabling
