Deliverables <br />1. Three copies of a draft Section 106 Report will be prepared to describe cultural resources identified <br />in the project area to meet state and federal standards for reporting as outlined in the guidelines <br />provided by the OAHP. The report will include summary background information appropriate to a <br />cultural resources assessment of the project area, including environment, previous cultural <br />resources studies, ethnography/ethno history, and history. A discussion of agency and Tribal <br />consultation, methodology, the results of the investigation, and a map of located archaeological <br />sites will be provided. Recommendations will also be extended to any cultural resources that may <br />be significant. Monitoring of construction excavation recommendations may also be included. The <br />historic structures inventory form and/or archaeological site inventory form will be attached to the <br />report as an appendix. <br />2. Three copies of a revised draft Section 106 report incorporating County comments. <br />3. Three copies of a final Section 106 report incorporating Corp comments. <br />Task SEPA Checklist: <br />This project is assumed to be SEPA exempt under the repair and maintenance provisions of the WAC. <br />Assumptions: <br />• The project will not require ROW acquisition or impact wetlands. <br />Deliverables: <br />• SEPA exemption letter <br />GEOTECHNICAL STUDY <br />PanGEO will perform the geotechnical study. <br />Existing Information Review — Review existing, readily available geologic and geotechnical information in <br />general vicinity of the project area. <br />Field Exploration & Lab Testing — Perform a visual site reconnaissance and mark locations for two test <br />borings and arrange one -call utility locating. Subcontract drill rig and crew and perform two test borings not <br />to exceed 60 feet deep each. Perform index lab testing on select samples collected from the test borings <br />for sample description and material property identification. <br />Engineering & Reporting — Based on the information obtained from the field explorations and lab testing, <br />prepare geotechnical engineering recommendations for new structure support including driven piles and <br />spread footing options. Provide estimates of nominal strength and service bearing resistance for new or <br />replacement foundations in general accordance with AASHTO LRFD methodology. Provide wall backfill <br />design parameters for lateral earth pressures. Provide construction considerations. Prepare draft and final <br />reports containing results and conclusions of the reconnaissance and engineering analyses. <br />Assumptions: Traffic control and flagging for drilling of test borings to be provided by Kittitas <br />County. <br />Page 4 <br />
