BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHIRGTON <br />RESOLUTION! NO. <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AM INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR <br />SNOW AND ICE REMOVAL SERVCIES INITH THE CITY OF ROSLYN <br />WASHINGTON <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works has specialty equipment and experience <br />removing snow and ice from public roadways; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works supports cities within the County providing <br />construction and maintenance assistance wherever and whenever <br />possible; and <br />WHEREAS: The City of Roslyn Washington is requesting assistance removing snow <br />and ice from City streets on a cost reimbursement basis; and <br />WHEREAS: The City of Roslyn understands that Public Works will provide assistance <br />on a "as available" basis focusing on removing snow and ice on priority <br />routes first and then secondary routes as resources become available; <br />MOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Kittitas County Board of County <br />Commissioners declares it be in the best interest of the public, and does <br />hereby authorize chair signature for the aforementioned, <br />DATED this 14th day of December, 2015, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COIUiHISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Gary Berndt, Chair <br />Obie O'Brien, Vice -Chair <br />Paul Jewell, Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br />Clerk of the Board <br />
