07/05/2016 MINUTES 2 <br />PUBLIC HEARING HIDDEN VALLEY VISTAS PLAT AMENDMENT CDS <br /> <br />At 2:04 p.m. CHAIRMAN O’BRIEN opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />the Hidden Valley Vistas Plat Amendment No. LP-15-00002. <br /> <br />JEFF WATSON, STAFF PLANNER reviewed a request for a Plat Amendment <br />from Ted and Lori Stringfellow to relocate the access point to their <br />lot (#2). The current access point as stipulated on the plat (by way <br />of delineated easement is off of Leo Lane and the Stringfellow’s <br />would like to change it to come off of Hidden Valley Road. He <br />reviewed the Findings of Facts, Conclusions of Law, and Decision <br />made by the Kittitas County Road Variance Committee. <br /> <br />MARK COOK, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR provided information relating to <br />the application on behalf of the Road Variance Committee. MR. <br />STRINGFELLOW said he was the owner of the property and provided the <br />history and clarified information for the Board. He said he had been <br />advised there had been an access previously approved off of Hidden <br />Valley Road. He was not aware of access off Leo Lane prior to <br />purchasing the property and indicated there had been no address <br />assigned to it. <br /> <br />THOSE PRESENT & TESTIFYING: BERNICE BALLARD spoke in favor of the <br />request for access off of Hidden Valley Road. THERE BEING NO OTHERS <br />REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />The Board explained their reasoning’s behind their support of the <br />request. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER JEWELL moved to approve the Hidden Valley Vistas Plat <br />Amendment LP-15-00002, as requested. COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ seconded. <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING IT STUDY SESSION IT <br /> <br />At 2:59 p.m. CHAIRMAN O’BRIEN opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />changing the regular Study Session date and time for the Information <br />Technology Department. <br /> <br />JIM GOEBEN, IT DIRECTOR reviewed a request to change their regular <br />Study Session date and time for the IT Department. The proposed <br />change is to have it on the 4th Monday of every month as it would be <br />more efficient for bringing recommendations to the Boards and <br />Committees in a timely manner, without waiting a full month. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE <br />HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br /> <br />
