<br />06/07/2016 MINUTES 5 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />Ishbel Dickens, former Executive Director of the National Manufactured <br />Home Owners Association, suggested that the County reassign the Purchase <br />and Sale Agreement to the Kittitas County Housing Authority. <br /> <br />Sheryl Cox questioned why the Shady Acres issue affects Roslyn and why <br />the County would want to displace a community. <br /> <br />Rodrigo De La Rosa, resident of Shady Acres and President of the <br />Homeowners Association, asked the County to consider reassigning the <br />Purchase and Sale Agreement to the Housing Authority. He expressed <br />concerns of his family’s safety and hoped that a good solution for <br />everyone would eventually come out in the end. <br /> <br />Mark Auslander said if the County went with a non-profit agency they <br />could solve a lot of the potential challenges that they may face. He <br />provided an example of the King/Snohomish Housing Authority who had <br />taken over property and they have a lot going for it. <br /> <br />Janice Jump provided a copy of Supreme Court Washington No. 9088-4 <br />Segura v Cabrera. She cautioned the County and said they could be <br />setting precedence. <br /> <br />BOARD DISCUSSION/DECISION ITEMS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016-072 EVERGREEN RIDGE PLASE 1 – DIVISION 5 CDS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to approve Resolution No. 2016-072, In the <br />Matter of Approval of the Final Development Plan for the Evergreen Ridge <br />Planned Unit Development (RZ-01-00010) and Evergreen Ridge Plat 1, <br />Division 5 Final Plat. and instruct Staff to include Note 3 within the <br />Development Plan. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to Amend Resolution No. 2016, 072, as Amended <br />and instructions provided to Staff. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />Motion to approve Resolution No. 2016-072, as amended.
