5/02/2016 MINUTES 2 <br />Commissioner Jewell questioned whether or not Commissioner Osiadacz <br />would be interested in applying for the USFS Resource Advisory <br />Committee. Commissioner Osiadacz indicated that she would apply. <br /> <br />LETTER TERMINATION OF WATER RIGHT COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to authorize Board signature on letters to <br />City of Roslyn, Clerk Brandi Taklo and to Settlement Agreement <br />Signatories: Tim Trohimovich (Futurewise), Maia Bellon (DOE <br />Director), & Jan Sharar (KCCC) regarding a Notice of Termination of <br />Water Right Lease with City of Roslyn. Commissioner Osiadacz <br />seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />LETTER DAHP/RODEO SEATING PROJECT COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to authorize Chair signature on a letter <br />to Gregory Griffith, Deputy State Historic Preservation Officer with <br />the Department of Archaeology & Historic Preservation, regarding a <br />request for Memorandum of Understanding for Project 2016-03-02086; <br />Kittitas County Fair & Rodeo Grounds Historic District. Commissioner <br />Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION COLUMBIA RIVER TREATY ADVOCACY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to approve the Columbia River County <br />Commissioners Policy Advisory Group proposal for a special dues <br />assessment for 25 Columbia River Counties to fund an advocacy effort <br />associated with the Columbia River Treaty Review. He noted that the <br />proposed amount is $4,000.00 and felt that it should not exceed that <br />without further discussion by the Board. Commissioner Osiadacz <br />seconded. The Board agreed that anything over $4,000.00 would have <br />to be discussed. Staff was directed to include in the e-mail notice <br />to WSAC that the County’s agreement was only up to $4,000.00 and not <br />to exceed that amount. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION LETTER OF SUPPORT - ROSLYN COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell explained that the County received a letter from <br />the City of Roslyn requesting the County consider drafting a letter <br />of support for the grant application that the City of Roslyn is <br />submitting to the Washington State Recreation and Conservation <br />Office (RCO) for acquisition land near the Roslyn Urban Forest. He <br />felt it would be a good effort to support. Commissioner Osiadacz was <br />tasked with drafting the letter and to bring it back at the next <br />Office Admin Meeting for the Board to consider. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br />Chairman O’Brien stated that he has been receiving concerns about <br />the Homelessness & Affordable Housing Committee Meeting handoff to
