HYAK PARKING VIOLATION FEES DISCUSSION <br />Mark Cook gave background on the ongoing parking issues in the Hyak <br />area. Mark Cook stated that recently he was contacted by Snoqualmie <br />Pass Utility District (SPUD) requesting assistance with illegal <br />parking blocking access to the shared facility between SPUD and Public <br />Works. Mark Cook continued that the low fees and lack of enforcement <br />capability is creating a public safety concern and staff would like to <br />discuss the option of increasing illegal parking fees and explore <br />towing resources to help with the issue. Discussion was held. Staff <br />was directed to research the avenues of towing options and increase of <br />illegal parking fees, <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />Airport Manager Hiring Process: <br />Mark Cook stated that he would like direction on the interview panel <br />for the Airport Manager interviews. Discussion was held on the number <br />of people on the panel and who should be on the panel. <br />Chairman Cory Wright requested to enter into an Executive Session for <br />ten (10) minutes stating RCW 42.30.110(d) "To review negotiations on <br />the performance of publicly bid contracts when public knowledge <br />regarding such consideration would cause a likelihood of increased <br />costs". <br />Executive session began at 2:16 pm and was adjourned at 2:26 pm. No <br />action was taken. <br />Staff was directed to have the following on the interview panel: <br />Mark Cook, Chairman Cory Wright, Chair of the Airport Advisory <br />Committee, Washington State Department of Natural Resources <br />Representative, Kittitas County Human Resources Representative, <br />Central Washington University Representative and a member from General <br />Aviation.. <br />Meeting adjourned at 2:29 pm. <br />201.9-01-28 MINUTES '1-0.1 <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Cory Wright, Chairman <br />
