BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 32Lq - 073 <br />TO AWARD THE BID FOR <br />HERBICIDE APPLICATION FOR THE YEARS 2019 - 2022 <br />AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE SAME <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on March 19, 2019 for <br />Herbicide Application for the Years 2019 - 2022; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened publicly on April 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Kittitas <br />County Public Works; and <br />WHEREAS: Two (2) bids were received for the prescribed work. The Director of <br />Public Works recommends the lowest responsive bid from Woodland <br />Resource Services Inc. be accepted; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in <br />the best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for Herbicide <br />Application for the Years 2019 — 2022 to Woodland Resource Services, <br />Inc. for the application of herbicide to approximately eight hundred (800) <br />shoulder miles of roadway. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director for the Department of Public Works is <br />authorized to sign the contract documents upon such terms and conditions <br />specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />DATED on this 22nd day of April, 2019, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />
