KITTITAS COUNTY <br />PUBLIC WORKS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 109 - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM APRIL 22, 2019 <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice -Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith; Commissioner Laura Osiadacz <br />Others: Candie Leader, Public Works; Dan Carlson, Jessica Miller, <br />Community Development Services and One (1) Member of the Public <br />At 1:31 pm Chairman Cory Wright opened the Public Works Study Session. <br />REQUEST TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION TO AWARD THE BID FOR HERBICIDE <br />APPLICATION FOR THE YEARS 2019 - 2022 AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE SAME <br />Candie Leader stated that Public Works went out for sealed bids for <br />herbicide application to approximately eight hundred (800) shoulder <br />miles of county road. Candie Leader continued that bids were opened <br />on April 4, 2019 at 2:00 pm and two (2) bids were received. Candie <br />Leader added that Public Works is recommending the low bid of Woodland <br />Resource Services for award. Candie Leader stated that this is a <br />multi-year contract and Public Works will be supplying the chemicals <br />for application. Chairman Cory Wright called for a motion to approve <br />Resolution 2019-073 to Award the Bid for Herbicide Application for the <br />Years 2019 - 2022 and Authorize the Public Works Director to Execute <br />Same. Vice -Chairman Brett Wachsmith made a motion to approve <br />Resolution 2019-073 with Commissioner Laura Osiadacz seconding the <br />motion.
