approval and will send out the -plan individually for Board review <br />prior to the agenda. <br />MAIN STREET - VANTAGE SPEED STUDY RESULTS <br />Mark Cook stated that a complaint of speeding and the use of <br />compression brakes on Main Street in Vantage. Mark Cook presented the <br />results showing speeding is occurring between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm in <br />the area. Mark Cook continued that this information can be used for <br />enforcement due to the targeted times shown in the study. Mark Cook <br />is recommending interactive speed signs be deployed and outreach to <br />the local hay companies on the use of compression brakes in the area. <br />Staff was directed to keep the Board updated on the outcome of the <br />sign deployment and outreach. <br />OTHER BUSINESS: <br />Chairman Cory Wright called for other business with Commissioner Laura <br />Osiadacz requesting an Executive Session under RCW 42.30.110(b) - To <br />consider the selection of a site or the acquisition of real estate by <br />lease or purchase when public knowledge regarding such consideration <br />would cause a likelihood of increased price. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION: <br />Ten (10) minutes was requested. <br />Entered into executive session at 2:04 pm <br />Adjourned at 2:14 pm.
