, <br />Kittitas County <br />Public Health <br />Dprmnt <br />To Protect and Promote the Health and the Environment of the People of Kittitas County <br />KITTITAS COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH(BOH) <br />Meeting Minutes <br />March 29,2019 <br />Commissioners'Auditorium <br />2:00 pm <br />Present <br />Board of Health (BOH): <br />Cory Wright,Rich Elliott,Laura Osiadacz,John Asriel M.D. <br />Absent:Brett Wachsmith <br />Board of Health Advisory Committee (BOHAC): <br />None <br />Public Health:Katie Odiaga,Tristen Lamb,Amy Fuller,Jesse Cox,Zac Bales,Tina Rowan,Liz Whitaker <br />Meeting called to order at 2:00 pm <br />Introductions <br />Introductions were completed. <br />Minutes <br />Motion to approve the February 21,2019 Board of Health meeting minutes <br />Motion 03-01:Motion to the February 21,2019 Board of Health meeting minutes.Rich Elliott <br />moved to approve the February 21,2019 Board of Health meeting minutes.Laura Osiadacz <br />second.All approved.Motion 03-01 carried to approve the February 21,2019 Board of Health <br />meeting minutes. <br />Public Comment <br />Public Comment open at 2:02 pm <br />Public Comment closed at 2:02 pm <br />BOHAC update <br />Tristen Lamb informed the board that APOYO had been selected as the Annual Public Health Champion <br />Award recipient.Ms.Lamb also noted that Dr.John Merrill-Steskal will also be presented with an <br />honorary Public Health Champion award,based on his continued nominations,and his declining of a <br />monetary award.Both awards will be presented at the April Board of Health meeting.Ms.Lamb <br />reviewed the Kittitas County Public Health 2019 budget with BOHAC and discussed the original <br />intention of the admissions tax.
