BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2019 - <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 BIG R <br />BRIDGE FOR BIG BOULDER CREEK BRIDGE REPLACEMENT <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners awarded Big R Bridge the contract to <br />supply a steel bridge structure for use on the Big Boulder Creek bridge <br />replacement project; and <br />WHEREAS: It is now necessary to add wood running planks to the bridge deck; and <br />WHEREAS: Big R Bridge is requesting a change order in the amount of $9,329 (and any <br />applicable Washington State sales tax) to add the requested wood planks; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Chair's signature on Big R Bridge Change <br />Order No. 1 to the bridge structure for use at Big Boulder Creek bridge replacement project. <br />DATED this 10th day of June, 2019, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Cory Wright, Chairman <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner <br />
