Public Hearing to Consider the Leasing of Kittitas County Water -Rights <br />through Public Auction. Commissioner Laura Osiadacz seconded the <br />motion. Motion passed 3-0. <br />THRALL AND PAYNE ROAD SPEED STUDY <br />Mark Cook stated that the Board requested staff conduct a speed study <br />at the intersection of Thrall and Payne Roads due to community <br />concerns. Mark Cook continued that a study was conducted for seven <br />(7) days and the curve at the crest of Thrall Road is potentially an <br />issue. Mark Cook added that some surveying was done at the <br />intersection and there is not enough room there to make a change. <br />Mark Cook presented a solution of adding advisory signage at the curve <br />and conduct another study to see if speeds lower at this location. <br />Staff is suggesting scheduling a public hearing for the community to <br />see the results. Discussion was held. Vice -Chairman Brett Wachsmith <br />made a motion to approve the scheduling of a public hearing for July <br />2, 2.019 at 2pm. Commissioner Laura Osiadacz seconded the motion. <br />Chairman Cory Wright suggested a site visit for the Board be done so <br />they can see the issue as well. Motion passed 3-0. <br />FLEET MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE PURCHASE AND TELEMATICS INTEGRATION <br />Mark Cook introduced Liz Remeto, Finance Manager to present this <br />agenda item. Liz Remeto gave background on the software and current <br />procedures for tracking equipment. Liz Remeto stated that staff had <br />demonstrations of different software out there and staff agreed that <br />the one chosen is the best use to the department's needs. Discussion <br />was held.
