KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />STUDY SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />STUDY SESSION DATE: June 24, 2019 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the Chair's <br />Signature on Jacobs Engineering Amendment No. 2 to <br />Task Order No. 16 — Fairview Road Culvert Replacement <br />Project <br />BACKGROUND: Jacobs Engineering is one of Public Works (PW) <br />engineering consultants selected in early 2017 pursuant to <br />County procurement process for professional engineering <br />services. Task Order No. 16 is nearing completion of the <br />initial $222,025 limit established by the Board and PW <br />desires having Jacobs conduct additional civil design <br />services supporting the Fairview Road Culvert <br />Replacement project. The new maximum task order <br />amount is: $294,373. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution authorizing the Chair's signature <br />on Jacobs Engineering Amendment No. 2 to Task Order <br />No. 16 — "Fairview Road Culver Replacement". <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Task Order Amendment. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
