WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AIRFIELD RESILIENCE FOR <br />CASCADIA SUBDUCTION ZONE EARTHQUAKE <br />Mark Cook stated that last week he, along with Administrative <br />Assistant Candie Leader, attended a two (2) hour phone conference with <br />Washington State Department of Transportation and US Department of <br />Homeland Security regarding Airport/Airfield resilience studies in <br />preparation for the Cascadia Subduction Zone earthquake. Mark Cook <br />reported that Bowers Field is on the list of airports that could <br />potentially be included in the study dependent on funding; however, it <br />is at the bottom of the list of airports to be looked at. <br />Meeting adjourned at 1:52 pm <br />At 1:56 pm Chairman Cory Wright announced that the Board along with <br />Mark Cook, Public Works Director would enter into an Executive Session <br />to consider the minimum price at which real estate will be offered for <br />sale or lease when public knowledge regarding such consideration would <br />cause a likelihood of decreased price.
