Candie Leader
From:
no-reply@co.kittitas.wa.us
Sent:
Friday, November 1, 2019 10:31 AM
To:
Laura Osiadacz
Cc:
Mark Cook
Subject:
Prosecutor Service Request 147700 1 Is Traffic Task Force County Committee
Laura Osiadacz,
We have made an update to your service request.
A copy is displayed below. As we continue to work on your request you will receive additional notifications.
Please review the issue fields as they may contain a request for something necessary to continue working on the request.
Note: This email was sent from an unmonitored account. I am asking your assistance in answering
bullet points 3 and 4 specifically. I hope to get back to her by Friday. Thanks! Good morning
Laura, I was unable and had informed the group I was unable to attend the previous meeting last
week. I heard we again, did not have a quorum. This would now be 3 in a row. -Where do you
foresee the task force in the future? -How many people are you (the commissioner's) wanting on
the team? -Are we a task force or a committee? -Do we have to follow the quorum rules (Roberts
rules) if we are only a task force? (So if members are absent -can we still go forward with a
meeting, decisions etc )? I feel we finally have hit a point that we were going to start making
some headway and I am concerned with the lack of commitment and even participation with
some of the members. I, personally am committed into the future regarding our roads for our
county. Continuing easing road congestion and safety issues are more than ever important with
the obvious huge growth of developments coming soon. Thank you for your time. Regards,
Cindy Millsap
Latest update:
Neil Caulkins 11/1/2019 10:31:28 AM
Resolution:
The group is denominated a task force. I have not been able to locate a resolution or ordinance
establishing k, hence, I am unsure if any restrictions or limitations were imposed there. I see
nothing in the county code or RCW indicating that either a task force or a committee would be
subject to a quorum requirement or Robert's Rules of Order.
Status:
Open
Assigned to:
Neil Caulkins
Priority:
Soon
Due date:
1111/2019 5:00:00 PM
