WO&wESTTURY
E N G I N E E R I N G
Public Meeting and Comments ! September 2021—January 2022
Final EA January 2022— February 2022
I Environmental Finding February 2022 — March 2022
Additional timelines beyond the scope of the EA are as follows:
Future Project Phases Timeline
Final Design June 2022—March2023
Bidding March 2023 —May 2023
Construction Summer/Fall 2023
8. REQUEST
Kittitas County is unable to float the funds required to advance design to support permit applications and
complete the NEPA analysis until a final design grant is able to be issued. As the County currently has
$400,000 of Non -Primary Entitlement funds carried over from previous years, this would be able to fund
an effort of approximately $445,000, which sits within the anticipated rough order of magnitude range
for advanced design and permitting efforts. Kittitas County requests that the FAA authorize the use of
Non -Primary Entitlement funds to support the advanced design effort required to complete the NEPA
analysis. This action allows the critical EA milestones moving forward.
Bowers Field Airport Environmental Assessment Page 12
Advanced Design Needs for NEPA Analysis November 27, 2019
