New Road Policy
Kittitas County utilizes a distance based addressing system. The address is based on the distance in
meters from the beginning of the road to the driveway on both public and private roads.
A distance based addressing system accommodates up to five addresses per driveway. When more than
five structures exist on a driveway, the driveway must be assigned a private road name and addressed
from the point of origin of the new private road.
01 is
1 r 'a
cn
DRIVEWAY j99 s
NEW -ROAD —
wry
te.e 2
DRIVEWAY NEW ROAD
New Road Criterion
In order for a driveway to be classified as a new private road, one or more of the following criteria must
be met:
1.
