<br />This call for sealed bids is for the construction of the Upper Kittitas County Road Maintenance Facility. Bids are due by
<br />March 19, 2020 at 10:00 am, at which time bids will no longer be accepted. Bids will be opened at the Kittitas County
<br />Public Works Office at 411 North Ruby Street, Suite 1, Ellensburg, Washington on March 19, 2020 at 10:00 am.
<br />Request for Information: Submit all inquiries in writing via mail or by phone 509-962-7523. No verbal answers by any
<br />County personnel or its agents and consultants will be binding on the County.
<br />Scope of Work: This Contract provides for the construction of four pre-engineered structures placed on the combined
<br />6.9 -acre site, utility installation, grading, landscaping and other site work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans,
<br />Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.
<br />Work site: 51 No. 5 Mine Rd, Cle Elum, Washington, 98922.
<br />Engineer's Estimate: $5,600,000.00 - $6,200,000.00
<br />Bid Guaranty: All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or
<br />surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (51/o) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to
<br />enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds within the time stated in the specifications,
<br />the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Kittitas County Public Works.
<br />The right is reserved to reject any and all bids and to waiver informalities in the bidding.

<br />Kittitas County in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4
<br />and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part
<br />21, Nondiscrimination in Federally -Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such
<br />Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this
<br />advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to
<br />submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national
<br />origin, or seg in consideration for an award.
<br />Note: Bids received after Scaled Bid Time will not be considered. Bidders accept all risks of late delivery, regardless of
<br />fault. Kittitas County is not responsible for arty costs incurred in response to this Invitation to Bid.
