03/17/2020 MINUTES 2 <br />prioritize their needs. The Webex licenses came in. Jerry Pettit, <br />Auditor asked to be informed of any laptop changes for pay code <br />purposes. <br /> <br />The Board asked the Offices who could close their doors to the <br />public and still serve essential functions. There was discussion on <br />the different options for Offices. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br />Steve Panattoni, Jail Superintendent presented an amendment to the <br />PSA between Kittitas County and Family Healthcare of Ellensburg that <br />would enhance the medical services at the jail. <br />Commissioner Laura Osiadacz moved to approve an amendment to the <br />PSA between Kittitas County and Family Healthcare in Ellensburg. <br />Commissioner Cory Wright seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />Lisa Young asked the Board for permission on March 19th to send out a <br />moment of silence over Net Support Notify in honor of Ryan Thompson. <br />Clay Myers, Sheriff supported the idea. The Board supported the idea <br />and asked Sheriff Myers to set up the notification. <br /> <br />Sheriff Myers asked for Board direction on decisions that need to be <br />made operationally with respect to the Fair, 4-H, and FFA. Sheriff <br />Myers was directed to work with KVEC and bring recommendations to <br />the BOCC. <br /> <br />Meeting to be continued until March 17th, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. <br /> <br />At 4:00 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith reconvened the Special Meeting for <br />COVID-19 Planning. <br /> <br />Board Members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice-Chair Laura <br />Osiadacz, and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others: Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I; Nick Henderson, <br />Coroner; Clay Myers, Sheriff; Lisa Murray, Administrative <br />Supervisor; Steve Panattoni, Jail Superintendent; Patti Johnson, <br />Solid Waste Director/Interim Maintenance Director/Project Manager; <br />Judge Paul Sanders, Lower District Court; Barb Demory, District <br />Judicial Admin; Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Candie <br />Blackford, Chief Administrator; Chelsea Loeffers, Health Promotion <br />Supervisor; and Val Barschaw, Clerk. <br /> <br /> <br />There was discussion on closing the Courthouse to the public and the <br />procedures for that. Commissioner Osiadacz will work with <br />departments that need to remain open. A Press Release will go out <br />stating what County departments will remain open, this information <br />will also be posted on department home pages on the website.
