APRIL 20, 2020 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; and via phone: <br />Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz & Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; via Phone: Taylor <br />Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I; Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of <br />the Board II; Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Interim <br />Maintenance Director/Project Manager; Jerry Pettit, Auditor; Lisa <br />Young, Human Resources Director; and Greg Zempel (Prosecutor) at <br />9:25 a.m. <br /> REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved the County Vouchers and <br />PAF’s. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br />There was no Correspondence Log to review for the week ending April <br />17, 2020. <br /> RELOCATION ELECTION ROOM COMMISSIONERS <br />Jerry Pettit, Auditor reviewed a proposal to move the Election Room <br />downstairs into the Courthouse basement where the employee break <br />room is currently housed. It would only be open during elections <br />times, and otherwise the public would not be allowed downstairs as <br />it’s currently restricted. He said he has talked to the Clerk, <br />Assessor, Treasurer, IT and Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager and <br />they were all in favor of it. Lisa Young, Human Resources Director <br />said if the employee breakroom was unavailable they would need to <br />work with the Union. There is space available at the Morris- <br />Sorenson Building basement for storage. Mr. Pettit said he could <br />potentially have funding available from the CARES ACT to pay for the <br />project, but they are currently checking on it to ensure those funds
