Auay from their place of residence or business and staying overnight in paid accommodations; <br />2. To a place fifty miles or more a\ €y from their place of residence or business for the day or staying overnight; <br />3. or from another country or state outside of their place of residence or business. <br />You must provide the evidence utilized in determining your projections. <br />Response 2.1 <br />Projection *1. Away fromtheir flace of residence or business and staying overnighl in pald acconnodatiotts; <br />Lodging tax funds will be spent on promotional advertising/marketing services & <br />materials ($6,000), design and printing e)penses for promotionalimarketing <br />materials to include labor, paper, postage, staff time, and envelopes ($2,500), <br />Operating e)eenses including dirt, gravel, labor, plywood, safety fencing, nails, <br />spray paint, cones, etc., ($2,500), staff time to promote event, search for sponsors, <br />and prepare for event ($1,S001, professional service to reset our bloom pavilion <br />footing to its original staie ($1,000), professional service to set up our indoor RC <br />track ($1,000), Contingency ($1500) <br />We project that ChillAde will bring 3500 people into Kittitas County with <br />approximately 180 staying in overnight accommodations. <br />We hope that people will continue to come from as far arnay as Canada, Yorba <br />Linda California, Maple Valley, Ephrata, Tacoma, Toppenish, and Monroe. <br />ln 2019 our estimated attendance exceeded 2,500 people, and tivre project that this <br />event will continue to grow next year (2020) <br />We conducied a survey during our 2019 eveni that r,vas completed by 130 people <br />rnihich uras approximately 1/20th of the audience and registrants. <br />We will markeVpromote this event in stages by trvcrking with a digital marketing <br />company in order to customize our target audience and epand our reach. We will <br />also be print, radio, print, and direct mailing promotional materials as uell as <br />registrations to invite previous registered attendees. <br />We are thoughtfully considering a moonlight run the evening before our Saturday <br />car show <br />2500 character linii
