BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNry OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESoLUiloN No. 2o2o- c CI7 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE AND DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL <br />RESOURCES <br />WHEREAS, RCW 39.34, the lnterlocal Cooperation Act, provides the capability for <br />public agencies to cooperate by providing services and facilities for mutual advantage; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of this agreement is provide for Mutual Aid Peace Officer <br />Powers Act pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 10.93 RCW; and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of this Agreement is to specially commission DNR limited <br />authority law enforcement officers in Kittitas County, Washington in compliance with the <br />requirements of the washington Mutual Aid Peace officers Power Act; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE lT RESOLVED AND lT lS HEREBY ORDERED, that this <br />Agreement between Kittitas County Sheriff's Office and Department of Natural Resource <br />pursuant to the lnterlocal Cooperation Act, chapter 39.34 RcW be adopted. <br />ADOPTED this fTy"day of <br />BOARD OF COT]NTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COTINTY , WASHINGTON <br />r <br />ATTEST: <br />CLERK OF THE BOARD <br />{Oeriof the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />q< -)c6mAistiqny <br />APP D AS TO FORM: <br />D.
