Response 'l : <br />ProjecVEvent*uescnptron <br />WindFall Cider Fest and Roots Music is from 3-9pm ai Western Tounr on the <br />grounds of the Kittitas Valley Event Center. Taps will open mid-afternoon, and the <br />concert will start shortly ihereafter. <br />The perfect pairing of cider & Music meet again to celebrate the colors of fall in the <br />center of Washington Ciderhouses from Puget Sound, Wenatchee, yakima and <br />around the region will bring enough varieties to make the most e4erienced taster <br />sraoon. Four live bands, Bluegrass to Folk to Americana, will ovrn the outdoor <br />stage. <br />WindFall is an event for ages 21 and up. lD is required. <br />WindFall is the grandest gathering of Cider in Central Washington. Tuelve cider <br />houses will be doing their best to impress. Each cider house will bring iuo or three <br />varieties for tasting. From dry to srmeet to hopped to fruited, herbed or flovriered, <br />there's a cider for everyone. Local restaurants and concessions will offer plentiful <br />handy food for every taste. Beer, vrine and soft drinks will also be available. <br />Four live bands, noi entirely traditional, but deeply rooted. "And Roots Music" <br />means Bluegrass-Americana-Folk will light up the Western Town courtyard stage <br />and bring an energetic concert to WindFall" ln 2019 rrye welcomed: <br />Head for the Hills from Boulder, Co., Fort Defiance from Nashville, young Feller <br />from Leavenuorth, and Ellensburg's ovrlr Killdeer String Band. <br />We are fortunate to u,ork with veieran music festival producers and add the <br />Chinook "Where Great Music Meets the Greai Outdoors" elperience to the event. <br />Though our event for 2019 rucn't have happened by the grant due date, it is well <br />planned and hiiting the timeline. Ticket sales are brisk. Additional information can <br />be made available shortly after Oct. 5. <br />As the largest fundraiser for KEEN, this even{ will continue to shorarcase central <br />Washington at the height of the fall season. Hard cider is the naiion's fastest <br />growing beverage and that industry continues to growand gain fans around the <br />region. Ciderhouses are now asking WindFall if they may aitend. Musicians are <br />asking WindFall howthey can get a chance on the stage. Community members are <br />asking howihey can get involved. <br />Equal parts craft cider tasting and outdoor concert, WindFall appeals to a wide, <br />adult audience.
