Response 2.3: By reviewing our guest register and through verbal interaction with guests, we know <br />Evidence * that visitors come from outside of the state and internationally. <br />Of these, 5% of our guests between January 1 and July 31, 2019 have been <br />international visitors. We have had visitors from Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, <br />Croatia, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, <br />Mongolia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, South Africa, <br />Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and Zambia. <br />Visitors from other US States have totaled 44% of those who signed the guestbook <br />were from 50+ miles away. These states were Arkansas, California, Colorado, <br />Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, <br />Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, New <br />Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, <br />South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, <br />Wisconsin, and Wyoming. <br />While our advertising is directed toward the Seattle -Tacoma area market and <br />Eastern Washington, along with Portland, Oregon, social media marketing is wider <br />spread through organic posts and shares. By engaging those around the <br />community, word of mouth is spread about the museum making us a destination <br />instead of an add-on. Through also participating in local events and activities, <br />including having exhibits, we add a value to ongoing efforts and activities which <br />might draw people into the Museum or add to their experience. <br />2500 character limit <br />Application Questions: Part.2 <br />31 Measuring Results <br />What tools will you use to measure your event's impact on tourism?
