Prior Year Paid We make a modest assumption that 1 out of 30 of these visitors (out of state plus Overnight's Stay out of county)will pay for lodging for an average of 2 nights.This totals 363.If onResponse*average they stayed for 2 nights,that could be 726 nights. Our numbers are deduced through the evidence mentioned in the evidence categories (visitors,website,survey,mailing list,etc)as well as through conversations we have with our visitors.We recognize that though this evidence is not empirical evidence,we feel confident that this low estimate is a reasonable one based on those conversations.Belowwe have highlighted,in addition to the evidence mentioned above,knowledge we gain through one on one conversations in September. September We had three artists in the main gallery exhibit,one from Seattle,one from Cle Eium and one from Yakima.We knowthat the Seattle arist visited two times for install and deinstall and then for two nights with five friends at an AirBnb for the opening weekend.The Yakima artist has visited the exhibit once a week with a friend or relative (8 visits).In addition the October artist came to drop off work with three friends and is spending the night (traveled from Montana). -13 visits overnight (5 people for 2 nights) -10 day trips and possible overnights Paint Ellensburg occurred on September 14 and 21.For the dinner we had 31 guests from out of the county.We know four guests that stayed with friends,two who rented a hotel and four who drove from Yakima. -6 visits overnight -25 day trips and possible overnights We also conducted our survey during this time which revealed that 40 visitors came from out of state or country and 108 came from out of the county during a 10 day time period (375 visitors were surveyed). -40 visits overnight -108 day trips and possible overnights For 2020 we have assumed an 8%increase of numbers based on the Evidence submitted. 2500 character iirrit.
