(4) Create, utilize and disseminate public education information materials to <br />increase awareness of the secure medicine take -back project, local <br />treatment resources, naloxone information and medical response (Good <br />Samaritan law) cards. <br />(5) Disseminate public information including information on local treatment <br />resources, naloxone information and medical response cards and <br />posters. (Print ready materials are available online at_ <br />wwv�.,.stal� o��l.ci ose_ ori). <br />(6) Utilize publications already available through HCA/DBHR and other <br />websites. (i.e., SAMHSA Opioid Overdose Toolkit, and <br />downloadable/printable materials on www.stopovorrlose-orct and_ <br />www. tak eb ac kv o u r m ed s. org . <br />(7) Submit locally -developed educational and informational materials to <br />HCA/DBHR for approval at least ten (10) business days prior to <br />publication. <br />(8) Prior to purchasing home medication lock boxes or bags the Contractor <br />will submit to HCA/DBHR in writing a plan for the purchase and <br />distribution of home medication storage device including the cost and <br />source of the home storage devices, the number of devices to be <br />purchased, a clear plan for distribution, and method for tracking the use of <br />the devices. The Contractor must also demonstrate how the distributed <br />home medication devices will be altered (by engraving, indelible ink, or <br />other means) to have no cash value. <br />(9) Create and submit Secure Medicine Tack -back and/or Lock Box project in <br />the Minerva reporting system within 30 days of approval of this project. <br />(10) Track and report in Minerva: <br />(a) The number of new policies developed and adopted to support a <br />sustained drop box. <br />(b) The number of educational and/or informational materials developed. <br />(c) The number of outreach materials developed and distributed including <br />news publications. <br />(d) The number of pharmacies involved in information dissemination <br />efforts. <br />(e) The number of health care providers involved in information <br />dissemination efforts. <br />(f) Pounds of medicine collected monthly once a secure medicine take - <br />back box is in place. <br />(g) The number of home medication storage devices purchased and <br />Washington State Page 72 HCA Contract No. K3924 <br />Health Care Authority <br />
