<br />Kittitas County Page 2 Specialty Crop Block Grant Program <br />K2871 <br />TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br />Washington State Department of Agriculture and Kittitas County <br />SPECIALTY CROP BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM <br /> <br />1. DEFINITIONS <br />The following definitions apply throughout this Agreement. <br />“Agreement” means this SCBGP Agreement between WSDA and Grantee. <br />“CFR” means Code of Federal Regulations. <br />“Project” means the project described in Section 5. <br />“Grant Amount” means the total amount of funding under this Agreement, as set forth on the Agreement Face <br />Sheet. <br />“Grantee” means the entity identified as the Grantee on the Agreement Face Sheet, who is a Party to the <br />Agreement, and Subrecipient under SCBGP Grant issued to WSDA. “Grantee” includes all employees and agents <br />of the Grantee. <br /> “SCBGP” means the Specialty Crop Block Grant Program, the federal funding program administered by USDA. <br />“SCBGP Grant” means the SCBGP grant issued by USDA to WSDA and identified by the FAIN # on the Agreement <br />Face Page. <br />“WSDA” means the Washington State Department of Agriculture, who is a Party to the Agreement. <br />“USDA” means the United States Department of Agriculture. <br /> <br />2. GRANT MANAGEMENT <br />The Agreement managers for each of the parties shall be responsible for and shall be the contact person for all <br />communications and billings regarding the performance of this Agreement. AUTHORITY AND PURPOSE <br />Acting under the authority of RCW 43.23.030, WSDA has secured a SCBGP Grant from WSDA and has awarded <br />the Grantee funding under this Agreement to undertake a project to enhance the competitiveness of a <br />Washington specialty crop. Grantee must perform in accordance with this Agreement’s terms and conditions <br />and all applicable federal, state and local laws and ordinances, which by this reference are incorporated into this <br />Agreement as though set forth fully herein. <br /> <br />4. FUNDING <br />WSDA shall pay an amount not to exceed the awarded Grant Amount for the eligible costs necessary for or <br />incidental to the performance of work as set forth for the Project. <br /> <br />5. PROJECT <br />Grantee must use the funding awarded by WSDA under this Agreement solely for the project set forth in <br />Attachment A. <br /> <br />6. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE <br />The work under this Agreement starts with the Grant Start Date shown on the Agreement Face Sheet and ends <br />with the Grant End Date shown on the Agreement Face Sheet, unless extended or terminated sooner as
