Based on the site visit to verify soil type we also look at the site risk survey to determine the
environmental conditions of the site. The site risk survey will also lead to the next step which is whether a nitrate
balance or a hydrogeology report will be required. This will also establish any required additional treatment for the
project. Based on all of that then you can proceed to engineering design.
Mamdouh H. Since we are just now starting the preliminary design process, we will determine
the elements below as we move forward, and notify you when complete, so you can do the site visit at that time. We
were hoping that you could review what we have to date, pending the remaining items.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
LAURA BARTENHAGEN, PE, LEED ® AP
laura.bartenhagen@esmcivil.com
From: El-Aarag, Mamdouh (DOH) [mailto:Mamdouh.El-Aarag@DOH.WA.GOV]
Sent: Friday, August 11, 2017 2:53 PM
To: Laura Bartenhagen
Cc: Baird, Frank (DOH)
Subject: RE: Vantage Bay Project in Kittitas County
Hello Laura,
Index #6
