FUTURE DEVELOPMENT <br />The County and its cities have adopted comprehensive plans that govern land use decision and policy <br />making their jurisdictions. Decisions on land use will be governed by these programs. This plan will work <br />together with these programs to support wise land use in the future by providing vital information on the <br />risk associated with natural hazards in Kittitas County. <br />All municipal planning partners will seek to incorporate by reference the Kittitas County Hazard Mitigation <br />Plan in their comprehensive plans. This will assure that all future trends in development can be established <br />with the benefits of the information on risk and vulnerability to natural hazards identified in this plan. <br />
